Peanut Butter Cookies
This is Grandma Mamie's recipe. These cookies will never be voted off the island. And make sure to get a nice, tall, cold glass of milk when partaking.
Ingredients
| 1 cup | shortening |
| 1 cup | peanut butter, natural |
| 1 cup | brown sugar |
| 1 cup | white sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 2 cups | flour |
| 1 tsp | baking soda |
| 1 tsp | salt |
| 1 tsp | vanilla extract |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour, soda and salt. Drop onto a greased pan and press with a fork dipped in flour. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
