Elvis Cookies
. This is Eris' new choice this year. A peanut-banana-chocolate cookie with a bacon garnish! i think Elvis would approve.
Ingredients
3 cups | sugar |
1 cup | butter |
1 cup | peanut butter |
2 Tbsp | molasses |
1 Tbsp | vanilla |
pinch | baking powder |
2 tsp | kosher salt |
3 | bananas, very ripe |
2 1/2 cups | flour |
1 1/4 cups | chocolate chips |
5 oz | pretzels, smashed |
10 | bacon strips, chopped fine |
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment or use cooking spray
- In large bowl, beat sugar, butter, peanut butter, molasses, vanilla, baking powder, and salt until well combined. Mash up bananas and add to dough. Add flour and blend in. Fold in chocolate chips and pretzels
- Using a tablesppon cookie scoop or two spoons, scoop balls onto prepared sheet about 2 inches apart. Top with bacon pieces.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes. The centers should still be soft. Cool on racks.
