Christmas explosion of art! We are continuing with the planetary theme and you may recognize some planets, stars, galaxies, black holes and other various interplanetary bodies among the decorations this year.

I have spent several years trying to perfect these and I think I have finally done it. the perfect combination of chewy and crisp. 

This is Grandma Mamie's recipe. These cookies will never be voted off the island. And make sure to get a nice, tall, cold glass of milk when partaking.

Randal is not sure why these cookies should ever be baked: they are awesome straight out of the freezer! this one has been retired for the Xmas season of 2018, but is still made throughout the year.

These cookies from Marth Stewarrt joined the island the year she had a wee bit of trouble, so instead of Oatmeal Shortbread, they are ever after Prison cookies!

Originally called 'Mexican Wedding Cakes', that name was immediately dropped when it became clear what they actually looked like!  You just can't unsee that.
